IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Effective April 1, 2026, a 2.5% card processing fee will be applied to all utility billing payments made by card.
This fee will impact card payments whether made online or in person and helps offset the direct costs associated with card processing.
Effective April 1, 2026, a $1.25 online payments fee will be applied to all utility billing payments made through the City’s payment website.
This fee will impact only utility billing payments made through the City of Sachse payments website and offset costs.
No fee will be applied to payments made by cash or other non-card payment methods. The City of Sachse offers a convenient and hassle-free ACH/Bank Draft payment option at no cost. Residents can easily enroll by accessing the enrollment form on the Utility Billing Forms and Resources page of the City of Sachse official website.
Sewer Averaging: Sewer averaging review will take place starting November 1st through March 31st. Lower water usage means a lower sewer bill all year. Adjustments to the calculated sewer rate can only occur in the event the consumer is granted a water leak adjustment during the winter averaging months. Evaluation of an adjustment to the sewer average rate must be received by Thursday, April 30th, 2026.
