New Utility Billing Rates: New water, sewer and trash rates went into effect October 1, 2025, and will appear on this statement. Information about our rates can be found online: https://www.cityofsachse.com/193/Utility-Rates
Sewer Averaging: Sewer averaging review will take place starting November 1st through March 31st. Lower water usage means a lower sewer bill all year. Adjustments to the calculated sewer rate can only occur in the event the consumer is granted a water leak adjustment during the winter averaging months. Evaluation of an adjustment to the sewer average rate must be received by Thursday, April 30th, 2026.
Holiday Closure: City offices will be closed Wednesday December 24th and Thursday December 25th in observance of the Christmas Holiday. City offices will also be closed on Thursday January 1st in observance of the New Year’s Holiday. Trash and recycling services will not run on Thursday, December 25th. Residents who receive service Thursday and/or Friday for the week of Christmas will be delayed by one day.
